This Privacy Policy explains how English Productions, a division of Chris English Designs, collects, uses, stores, and shares information through English-Productions.com.

• Contact inquiries: your name, email address, and message.
• Member accounts: your email address, password in encrypted form, subscription status, plan information, and related account details.
• Payments: transaction, customer, and subscription identifiers supplied by Stripe. Complete payment-card numbers are handled by Stripe and are not stored by us.
• Actor submissions: name, email address, phone number, age, height, gender identification, headshot or selfie, acting-reel link, agent or manager details, additional notes, sharing permission, and submission date.
• Member participation: poll selections, votes, and other information submitted through member features.

Information Collected Automatically

Our hosting provider and website may collect standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, referring pages, requested pages, timestamps, security logs, and session cookies necessary for login, account security, and website operation.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to operate and secure the website; create and manage accounts; process and confirm memberships; provide member content; respond to inquiries; review actors for possible roles; communicate about relevant productions; administer polls; prevent fraud or misuse; maintain records; comply with law; and improve our services.

3. Actor Database Information

Actor profiles are maintained for current and future casting consideration. A submission does not guarantee an audition, role, employment, or response. We use submitted information to evaluate possible casting matches and contact actors about opportunities.

If an actor gives permission, we may share relevant profile information with other directors or production professionals seeking actors. If permission is not given, we do not share the profile with unrelated directors for their projects unless legally required.

4. How We Share Information

We may share information with service providers that help us operate the website, including website hosting, email delivery, data storage, security, and payment processing. These providers receive only the information reasonably necessary to provide their services. We may also disclose information when required by law, legal process, or a valid government request; to protect rights, safety, and security; or as part of a merger, sale, restructuring, or transfer of the business.

We do not sell personal information for money.

5. Stripe and Payment Information

Membership payments and billing management are processed through Stripe. Information submitted directly to Stripe is governed by Stripe’s privacy policy and terms. We receive limited billing information needed to identify the customer, confirm subscription status, and provide paid access.

6. Cookies and Sessions

We use essential cookies or similar session technologies to keep members and administrators signed in, protect forms against misuse, remember necessary session state, and maintain website security. Disabling essential cookies may prevent account and member features from working.

7. Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including maintaining active accounts, preserving casting records, processing transactions, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, and meeting legal or accounting obligations. Retention periods vary by the type of information and our operational or legal needs.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect personal information. However, no website, transmission method, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account password.

9. Your Choices and Requests

You may ask to review, correct, or delete personal information you submitted, subject to legal, security, transactional, and recordkeeping requirements. Members may update certain billing information through the Stripe billing portal. Actor applicants may request correction or removal from the casting database by contacting us.

10. Adults Only for Actor Submissions

The actor database is limited to applicants who are at least 18 years old. The website is not designed to knowingly collect actor submissions from minors. If we learn that an underage person submitted an actor profile, we may delete it.

11. External Links

Our website links to third-party websites and social platforms. We do not control their privacy practices, and this policy does not apply to information they collect.

12. Pennsylvania Operations

English Productions operates as a division of Chris English Designs and follows applicable laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and applicable federal law.
